RACHAEL EVELYN BOOTH
TIME SLIP - WHen Yesterday Ends
is a Science Fiction story that asks what could happen if a time travel mission went horribly wrong.
Dr. Mona Barrett, a Physics professor at Princeton and amateur historian, along with her wife, Stacey, invent a time machine so Mona could go back in time to rescue important artifacts thought to have been lost forever and bring them back to fill the historical record.
During one of her missions, Mona's machine malfunctions, sending her to a place neither she nor Stacey thought was possible; a world where the dominant species is evolved from dinosaurs and mammals are only kept for pets or food - they certainly don't talk. Mona's machine is broken and she can't get back home, wherever or whenever that is.
